Abingdon & South Of England Christmas Shows

With the weather holding up nicely if somewhat chilly, this year's Abingdon Christmas show was again a delightful environment in which to display and sell our wares.
We were well received by our visitors and the show again looked beautiful. Very good sales were reported by most exhibitors and plenty of promoting of our spring show proved fruitful.

The winner of the best presented stand this year was Peter Rhoades.

After a supremely successful event that was the South of England Christmas Show, we at ACF are delighted to post some photographs of this, our first year's showing.

Most kindly and ably opened by Dame Vera Lynn, the show went from strength to strength and excellent sales were reported by exhibitors.

Relax a while and enjoy the atmosphere.

Visitors were delighted with the ambiance and feel of the show and our chosen accompaniment to Ron on his piano proved a great success with their skills spilling over late into the night of our party night.

The Abba themed party proved very successful and all attending exhibitors were delighted with the ensuing revelry.

A friendly atmosphere with many exhibitors finding appropriate costumes.

South Of England Christmas Show

ACF are delighted to announce that Dame Vera Lynn will be officially opening the show for us on the 17th November 2011.
We have been lucky enough to secure the presence of the fabulous J. Rodriquez and his band.

At this years South of England christmas show, we will be holding an Abba / 70's theme night on Friday 18th November 2011. More to following shortly.

The Mentmore Show 2011

Hi,

Following the success at Mentmore (whatever you did, keep doing it!!!!), thought i should give Abingdon a try.

Unfortunately i'm booked up for the second week, but if you have space left for the first week please let me know. my stand is 3m x 2m, plus i can bring the larger pieces if you have somewhere outside/display area.

I really enjoyed the show at mentmore, nice to see a bit of a get together, like the old days!

Following the tremendously successful event that was the Mentmore Arts, Crafts, & Design Show, overlooking the magnificent Mentmore Towers, We are delighted to congratulate the prize winners again for maintaining our exacting standards of quality and display. Well done, everybody!

Sad Loss

It is with regret we have to inform you of the sad loss of Lana Gregory, who died this week at the very tender age of 52. Lana had been ill for sometime and kept her illness to herself and a few close friends.
With the funeral taking place at the crematorium by the Yorkshire Showground, Tuesday 19, her friends will be most welcome.
Our hearts go out to the family and friends at this sad time.

Despite horrendous rain at the Secrett's Arts, Crafts and Design Show last weekend, the standard of presentation of all of the stands was exemplary. We wish to thank all that took part. Pictured above are the three prize winners.

It is with utter delight, that ACF announces we have been chosen to stage the prestigious South of England Christmas show at the Sth.England Agricultural Showground. Held over the preferred weekend of 17 - 20 November and housed in the Exhibition hall and adjoining marquees, we invite applications for this superb Christmas Show.

It is with delight that we announce that negotiations with the organisers of the Edenbridge & Oxted show have been fruitful and we now invite exhibitors for this prestigious show.

Excellent presentation will be a pre-requisite and standards must be maintained. On this our first year, spaces will be very limited. For stand prices and further information, please contact Jayne on 01785 245312 as 10 of these stands have already gone .

One would have thought,after that length of time,the last thing on my mind would be another break!

Oxted & Edenbridge

We have been approached by the organisers of the Oxted & Edenbidge show to run a craft fair in their stead. We are negotiating currently. If this show, held over the bank holiday and one with a very good reputation for sales is one that interests you, it will be essential to be early with your booking form as space will be very limited.

After a somewhat shorter break than normal, ACF is back at work and filling the shows nicely. There are some products that are already full and some rapidly becoming full for most of our shows. So please, if you are considering, send in your application forms sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.

Jayne and Ian are delighted to announce that the test results have come back showing no increase in any disease and a slight drop in Jayne's cell count. Good news all round means "nunc est bibendum."

New Venue.

We are off to check possible venues to add to our summer and Christmas shows. These are potential additions to our 2012 calender. More exciting prospects.
With a mini break just around the corner, Jayne and I are feeling the pinch of "end of term."
